So John Dead???

Ok my guess this mysterious guy at the beginning is actually in Johns body?? -Since they rolled dead John out on the beach-So does that mean all the other "dead" people on the island are really dead and someone else is taking over their body??

I think the guy from the beginning is now the Smoke Monster. Smokie is the only thing on the island (that we know of) who can take the shape of other people. If John is dead and inside a crate, nothing took over his body. Instead, something created a new body.

Not to mention, Smokie told Ben (through Alex) that Ben must follow Locke. Locke leads Ben to kill Jacob. Therefore Smokie leads Ben to kill Jacob. So Smokie and Locke are the same.

I thought the same thing. It definitely looked like Locke had died and Jacob touched his shoulder and brought him back to life.

I must be alone but I think Jacob was evil. The ship sailing in at the beginning was tied to him. Jacob created a cult around the mysterious powers of the island. He manipulated a lot of people into his corner. I am not saying smokie is good, but he was protecting, I believe, the sacradness of the island. When Jacob said they are coming I think he meant the cult followers who found Lockes body. I think the game involves Jacobs cult against the Gods or whatever they are that encompass the smoke monster. Will time change? I don't know but I think Ben will have his memories of all that has happened and become the hero we all see in him :)
