So now I would say Christian has something to do with whoever the man in black on the beach is too because he told John he would have to die. So does this mean that Christian is like John and not really Christian?

Maybe he tried to use Christian as his 1st loophole guy but Christian wasn't important enough to get close to Jacob to kill him. It seems now since Jacob meet some of the Losties in diff times that if anti-Jacob was Christian he was settin up his side of the fight and Jacob his. Btw.. when John fell did Jacob actually bring him back to life again but just made him paralyzed?

Well we've already seen Richard used by the Loophole guy as the first person to tell Locke he would have to die, whoes to say he didn't get to Christian too.

I thought the same thing about John being brought back to life and I keep feeling like Jacob is going to have been one step ahead of Anti Jacob when this is all over.

Why is everyone convinced Jacob is good!!!!!!!!! He created the cult. He set in motion the poeple who wanted to save him by manipulating all of th poeple we saw, the real Locke included. And he did kill to keep his power through Ben. Nothing proved otherwise. Sheesh I am frustrated

Just because Jacob is one step ahead doesn't guarantee his goodness I know.:)
I don't know, one could easily argue well for both sides. In the opening scene my first impression of Jacob was he was an arrogant little sh*& up to mischief and he was driving the other man crazy with reckless behavior and poor decisions and the man in black was trying to hold on to tradition etc. That impression changed somewhere during the show and I felt he was a good guy and trying to help in spite of free will and people's poor choices and not being able to control everything. But of course this show can turn in a dime at any moment and we will see where we go :)
