Smokies loop hole is John Locke....well even though ben killed Jacob what if Jacob had already found a loop hole just incase being Christian Shephard.

alright could see it but then why would he tell John he would have to die to get everyone back to the island?

Let me get this straight. When Locke falls into the pit with the FDW, he meets up with Christian. When Locke tells him that he has to die, Christian says "that's why they call it sacrifice." And shows him how to turn the wheel. Why? To get everyone back on the island, to cause the incident and the plane to crash, and eventually Locke and Ben to go see Jacob. Christian = Locke = that evil guy from the first scene.

I was dealing with the kids on and off for the first few min. What was said to make people believe that the guys with Jacob on the beach is evil?

I didn't quite catch the whole conversation myself, but he'd said he wished he could kill Jacob, and that one day he would find out how. I'm thinking that he could be the brother of the biblical Jacob, called Easu, who god apparently did not love.

I rewatched it and I got the impression that the other guy wasn't evil, but just disagreed with Jacob's compassion for humans.... Jacob brought the Black Rock to the island w/ Richard on board. The other guy says that all they will do is fight and destroy if you bring people here. Not really an evil reply

After they talk about the ppl comin to the island and only want to destroy it or whateva, Jacobs said something like "it only ends once, everything else is just progess" how many times have they played this game? (this is probably the wrong thread for this question.. so sorry) So since it appears that Jacob is dead would this be the final ending that was referred 2?
