What do you think is the timline of Jack's life in the future:
Crazed and bearded at the hospital and airport?
Clean-shaven at the trial?
Funeral home visit?
I have been trying to read as much as possible to bring me up-to-date.

i dont understand why jack was lieing sooo much!! i was buggin out cus he was lyin like crazy!!!

yea nd where does jack go wrong. i mean in the season3 finale, he was a wreck!! wonder how he got that way, cus he was doin fine in the kate nd hurley flashforwards!!

I think he's calm cool and collected when he gets off the island....he's so happy to be back and becomes some what of a celebrity and he goes back to his job as a doctor. However I think all the lying he's doing by covering up his secret that his friends are potentially still alive (or whatever this big secret is) finally gets to him and he feels like he needs to go back. Remember Ben could be pulling the strings so to speak so Jack may not have much of a life outside of the island. It probably drives him to be like his father...

Well, we know for sure that the flashforwards in each show happen on chronological order, because the boys (Cuse and Lindelof) told us in an interview.

Well, he's not going to help Kate much if he looks like a derelict at the trial.But, if you looked closely he still looks ragged around the edges. Sometimes it's a sin of omission-what you neglected to do that haunts you. Is that what's making Jack so disaffected with everyone and everything? He seems so unwelcome in everyone's life when he approaches them in the flashforewards. Is he the loose cannon that they are afraid to set off?He seems just barely to be holding himself together.All these episodes seem like delays, delays, nothing but delays!

Well I don't think the ff's are in chronilogical order because when we last saw a Jack ff he was telling Hurley that they shouldn't go back to the island. The ff for the season 3 finale showed Jack wanting to go back. I think the trial happened before Jack's deck got reshuffled He went nutso after the trial.

i agree that the one from last season is later, but the ones from this season have been confirmed to be in order.

They're not in chronological order of the show, but they're in chronological order each episode.. As in, when Sayid shot the dude on the golf course, that really did happen before he met Elsa.

I think:
1. clean-shaven at the trial.....he still has his wits about him and this seems
be maybe in the same time frame that he visits hurley in the institution
2. Funeral home visit.....he is starting to loose it (ok...he has)...he is freaking
out at whoever is in the casket (Ben told him that "everylivingbeingwould
die if they left the island)...he realizes that they should not have left
3. Crazed and bearded at the hospital and airport....at this point (to me) he
has completely lost it.....this is when he tries to kill himself on the
bridge and causes the accident....he is completely drugged up and drunk
when he wants to perform the surgery and later when he is sneaking pills
and pretending to look at the womens chart(possibly juliettessister) and
thats when he says....get my dad down here and well see whose
drunker....and then the airport scene....obv at the trial he and kate hadnt
really talked much and she seems hopeful and wanting some relationship
with jack......before the airport...he calls her and calls her (and at airport
doesn't he mention the funeral...and she says way should i have gone....
then he mentions we have to go back kate

***now looking back at this...i will admit that #2 and #3 could be switched....this is a mad example of how crazy the show makes us all:)

I agree with Justjoe. Remeber in the ff with hurley Jack say he is THINKING of growing a beard. That' s a clue for us that that ff happened chronologically before the one at the end of season 3, i think anyways :)
