In the first scene when the Black Rock is off shore, something about Jacob and (Mr. No Name)'s conversation struck me. It was along the lines of "They come, they fight, the destroy, they corrupt. It all ends the same." Jacob then says that it all results in progress. Does this mean that all of these events we're seeing have happened again and again throughout history??? What is it leading up to? And what happens when the desired progress is reached? There's your Season 6 folks. (I think)

Thank you I didn't catch that entire quote in that scene. It almost sounds like human progress. Almost a reincarnation type theme. You learn something by your experiences in each life and circumstance and grow and you make progress.

Anti-jacob is now reminding me of Ben's egotistic self centered "why didn't you pay attention to me jacob" character. Seems anti Jacob may have found it a nuisance to be a part of people's spiritual progress. You know all the bother. lol

He has no faith in humanity...Anti-Jacob believes that humans are corruptible and always...Always turn things to dung.

It was a very esogteric comment about mankind throughout history....not as a time loop. Mankind seeks, conquers, destroys, builds and collapses...think about all of the great past civilizations...the Roman Empire, the Egyptians, etc. That is what he meant. And that was the same as the ending in The Stand, the few survivors wondered if mankind had finally learned their lessons after detonating an atomic weapon and blowing up most of the survivors left in the world after a horrible virus killed most off.

This has been about a cosmic battle of good verses evil all along. It is a giant game where the game pieces are manipulated by the powers that be....no pun intended! Though it sounds about right?!!! Haha.
