Any ideas why Sawyer told Locke that Kate went to take Miles to Ben ? I guess Kate is right not to trust Sawyer.

Sawyer didn't betray Kate. Sawyer purposely told Locke so that they would both run out of the house to go see Miles. Meanwhile, Kate took Miles and waited for Locke to leave so that she could take Miles to Ben.
Sawyer was in on it to distract Locke - he just played stupid so that Locke didn't think Sawyer betrayed him.

No, no.. He loves her, she can trust him... Remember, he asked Locke for his word that he wouldn't hurt Kate? So, that's taken care of.. Then remember, he said something to Kate about it not being any use in them both getting in trouble for it? I can't remember his exact words. Then he tells her she's unbanished, but she decides to leave anyway.

yeah..he even said that to Kate in bed.....he helped here but had to make it look like he didn't so Locke would continue to trust him....i think he is REAL sweet on Kate and actually wouldn't hurt her if he could help it

Sawyer didn't betray Kate, that was the plan. They figured that it would be impossible for them to break Ben out, and anyways, Kate has no love for Ben to do that anyways, so they thought up a plausable reason to get Locke out of the house, to get Miles in. They already knew where Miles was and that he wasn't guarded. This plan was great, except for the last few seconds part, since it didn't incriminate Sawyer at all, he didn't hurt his chances with staying with the group. Kate def. has feelings for Sawyer, even if she doesn't let them show that often, it was her way of protecting him, and of course, Sawyer would jump at saving his own skin if he could, its in his nature.
