At the end when Jacob said thier coming and Anti Jacob had a surprised sort of look about him, then kicked Jacob into the fire- Did kicking him into the fire end up saving him? Maybe since were dealing with ashes and smoke monsters, turing Jacob into ashes will actually allow him to come back to life- Or is turning him into ashes going to be the way he takes over his body? Is that how the monster takes on the forms of people? They are turned into ash and he can take thier form???
Just a thought

Smoky turned up as Eko's brother, but Eko's brother's remains were still in tact in the plane. Think that ruins that theory..

well see it like this, i think the fire had significance. because in a lot of things i've seen, when a man is put into the fire, he doesn't always burn...(metaphor saying i think he could still be alive.)

You sure? I cant recall the scene when we see the body on the plane, but all i remember was a skeleton with that chain on. And i thought thats how eko knew it was his brother, from the chain
