When Hurley is at the Asylum, after he got off the island, he sees Charlie. One might think that Hurley is crazy and Charlie doesn't not exist, but if this is so why does Hurley see Charlie Dressed up like he used to be when he was in the Drive shaft band. If I remember correctly the first time Hurley saw Charlie, he was a complete mess, drug addict wearing a black jacket. Just thought that was odd or it might be something to that

I believe that his dress is the key to his existance, Seeing as like you said, hurley never saw charlie dressed nicely and one would assume that if hurley would have just been imagining charlie, he would have been dressed in scum bag clothes as that was the only way that he ever knew charlie, therefore we can further assume that Charlie is still "alive" in some way or another as he was dressed in a way that we have not yet seen him, and Hurley is not just crazy,

Ya but the crazy thing is is that Hurleys buddy in the Asylum that he plays connect 4 with sees Charley 2 and tells Hurley theres a man staring at you and its Charlie.

When Charlie is talking to Hurley telling him what he doesnt want to hear....Hurley tells him that he's not really seeing him because he's dead. Charlie replies back to him that yes, in fact he is dead...but he is seeing him as well. That confirmed it for me.

That's still a mystery to me as well!! Could there still be some time/dimension occurring? And maybe some of the "crazy" people in the asylum can see spirits too.?? Definitely some past/future episodes keep linking up....

Yah I think Charlie did in fact die on the island like we saw but I have a feeling the show is leaning toward making us believe that when people die on the island, they might not really be dead. The man who came to see Hurley in the Asylum specifically asks Hurley if "they" are still alive and when Charlie comes to visit he says that Hurley knew he (Charlie) would already be here before he came to see him. If this is the case, I'm curious to see who else might return! This should make an interesting season!!!

Well, givien the fact that Charlie says that he did died would be a "dead" givveaway that he indeed did die!

Lots of "d" aren't there?
