One of my friends forwarded me this link. I'm not quite sure where it came from but if you go to http://www.widmorelaboratories.com/ and click on Magnus Hanso. It shows you a list of the crew members from The Black Rock...see anything familiar?!?!? Just curious about what other people think about this.

Sorry the black rock site is definitely a fake :( I thought it was really cool too at first but then I realized, they spelled Miles Straume's name wrong -- Strom. They also have a heroes character on the ship which is also another abc show. There are a lot of false sites out there unfortunately.

But Mangus Hanso could be real.. He name was part of Find815, saying he was thought to be captaining the Black Rock when it went missing.

But, recently I read somewhere that although Find815 is official, things that go on in it may or may not be pertinent to the show. The producers wanted something extra for the fans, but not too extra that if people didn't play they would be missing some big news.

I like the idea of Mangus Hanso (Alvar's either grandfather or great grandfather, I forget) landing on the island and things going from there.

Yah I agree Magnus is real, I think they took some actual facts and went from there on the black rock site. But everything on find185.com is real :)
