Why would Eloise tell Jack to bring Locke's dead body as a replacement for his father unless she knew that there would be a fake Locke. Sun would have obviously noticed fake Locke on the island, knowing that he was dead and would have been buried. Ben on the other hand should have known when Alex told him to "Follow John Ken". Now say Ben didknow that Locke was fake and he is only doing good for the island and apparently Jacob is the good side, then why would he listen to fake Locke. I hope this makes sense and someone understands what I am trying to say.
