i think that the event that with the nuclear bomb going off, they never really changed the outcome of how their flight makes it to LA or not. I think it's because of the losties that their flight crashes on the island. It made me think of the episode "whatever happened, happened" that they cannot change how they got on this island. Especially how Miles talks about how everything they did in 1977 already happened, but they don't know exactly what they did because it's happening right now. (i think that's how he worded it)
what do you think?
I think the crazy ending is that they are successful and they make it to LA and they are getting off the plane, moving on with their lives and have no idea that they had just spent years together. All the drama and all the deaths with their emotions on a crazy roller coaster just will never happen now.

I think that's exactly what happened they caused the incident and then got flashed somewhere else If time changed then the scene withjacob would be completely different and showing us that would be pointless. My favorite part was when miles was like did anybody think jack causes what he's trying to prevent and the best thing to do would be nothing.

Yeah, my favourite part too. If they do 'cause' the incident, then maybe someone will go back and convince them not to do anything next time ;)
Good to see Miles, Sawyer, Kate, and Juliette are now HCCers :D

Yeah I'm still not convinced of that next time stuff kinda kills the severity of it all IMO. I know I could be very wrong but I still don't like it.

I think after tonight we are done with time travel for a while....
There are many loose ends to tie up and time travel won't be a part of that for a good while.
It may come into play towards the end of the show but after the incident we are probually going to be focused on Jacob's needs vs. anti-Jacob wants and how it ties Widmore's manipulatoins and Ben's manipulations into the woven threads....
Any thoughts?

Yeah, I kinda agree with you. I believe the ending will be mostly sad. Slow motion movements through LAX, song "life and death" playing softly as Jack and Kate walk past one another, she in cuffs, he still mourning the death of his father, neither knowing the other. I see Michael and Walt, talking, maybe even laughing together. I see Sawyer, walking alone, maybe glancing back at Kate being ushered into a police car waiting for her. I think it'll be a slow, sad ending. Anything happy would ruin it for me. Not that I'm a pessimist or anything, but its just the way Lost seems to go, happiness is always a set up for the big fall.

I think the consequences of time-travel will be mostly what S6 is all about. Things will start changing to resolve the story of LOST to coincide with reality. The loose ends will be tied up in the process. Anything we see between Jacob and his friend will be how they have manipulated history.

And at the very end, I reckon it will be up to us to try to avoid having this latest rise of civilazation end the same way as the others. We will need to stop fighting, being greedy, allowing corruption. We will need to start making decisions that are in the best intersests of our "island": Earth. Or else we might never be given another chance....

Me, I think you can't really "predict" what will happen in Lost. I mean, Lost is like one of those shows that are like, up in that air. I mean, I thought Lost would end when they got ff the island but obviously I was wrong. So like, yeah......... my friend thinks Lost is like going to end by like everyone dying. Of course, that's how she thinks every show is going to end.
