I don't understand the age thing, why does Richard grow up into a man and then he does not age, why couldnt it be at the age of say 12 & then not age or grow up?

We call it incest today which is a bad thing in our culture. Back then it was to preserve the longevity gene. (a good thing, the only thing.) It was the rule to assure the line of the Gods. As mating spread outside of the tribes, that longevity gene started to deminish. Therefore, mankind as we know it now, has a relitively short lifespan. Thus insuring that nobody lives today as long as the Gods did back then. If you read deeply enough, you would have realized this yourself. Instead of being superficial, you should open your mind to the possibilities, as you have with the show LOST. Real life history is much more of a mystery than any show can portray. People tend to shy away from things they have been taught as being a MYTH. The truth is hidden in plan sight disguised as MYTH. Remember TROY being a MYTH? They flip flopped on that one when the truth was revealed......But wait......The truth was there all along. They just hid it in MYTH. Makes you wonder about everything else being called MYTH huh?

I'm a old-fashion christian I guess,I have been going to church my entire life.I 'm a believer and a follower of my religion.The thing is we are a little old -fashioned to say the least.As,a child I learned in great depths the old testament and the new as I got into my early teeens,but I never lost my fasicination about the goings on in the old testament.I've heard the story of Esau and soon as I watched the finale got on here and peps have all kinds of ideas theories I like them all they are great to know ,understand and learn that these stories or testaments are real no MYTHS.I enjoy the knowledge you guys and girls put on here it helps me learn and inform others about the bright future we have in life,but besides the bible where are you peps getting your ancient stories from.I'd love to read them even if it's not from the bible I believe to be true,because I've got an open mind to ideaology.

I do believe that this is an interesting theory however I am not willing to believe the overall story is related to a biblical story. Yes there have been numerous religous references but I think the overall story of Lost is a synthesis of various religous stories derivied from the early mesopotamia region. It is ultimately a science fiction story and I think we will be suprised/pleased by the ratio of religous truth and mythology.

I'm pretty sure that they are not basing it solely on this story ,but have took this story along with all the books we've seen and heard about on the show and other fiction and non-fictous story-lines and created the ultimate sas Lost ,look at all the peps looking for answers from alll around the earth ,fropm the ealiest of times to so many different religions and even the science part that can and can't be proven for or against.It just totally intwinds every second of the show into another part to keep going or answers our Q&A'S.iN MY MIND YOU CAN'T OR WILL NOT FIND A BETTER SHOW IN MY GENERATION.
