....who MADE or BECAME a duplicate copy of Locke's body. If and when the alive body of Locke comes out of the statue, there will be TWO identical Lockes... How is someone or something doing that?

And further more, this means, "It" has never needed Locke to be dead since "It" didn't need a body. So, maybe we been watching two different Locke's this whole show or for a while atleast. OK.. OK.. when I type that, it sounds a little far fetched.. but still.. there are TWO bodies! What's up with that.

Locke was reconstituted.

He may have been ordered/destined to kill Jacob by the "island" the way he was ordered/destined to kill his father. But it was Locke, not someone occupying his body.

Note among many other things, the similar modus operandi, i.e. Locke put someone else up to it.

This actually fits in quite well with the mirror universe theory. There is a John Locke in each mirror universe. Now, instead of what we heard in the beginning of the finale as "LOOPHOLE", consider that Jacob was saying "LOOP HOLE." Two words, different meaning. In other words, the man in the dark shirt found a hole in the time loop to get to the mirror universe and steal John Locke's body. Think of the mirror universes as an infinity symbol or an eight laying on its side. It is never ending. It is two universes. He is able to leap from one to the other and back again. A "loop hole."
