Aaron and the psychic

This is completely crazy and it just popped into my head so I had to post it.

Kate is now bound to stay in California (for who knows what reason the DA would ask for this.)

The psychic in Australia said Claire HAD to go on 815 and there was a COUPLE IN LA who could take the baby.

Kate, Aaron and Jack are in LA in the future. Could he have been referring to the couple of Jack and Kate? Or possibly Kate and someone else or Jack and someone else?

IMO Jack has taken so many air flights, and he is a friend of Kate's, so the DA may suspect that Kate might flee the state. I heard her say to the prosecuting attorney "I have a son" almost as justification that she would accept any deal where she got to stay and take care of her son.Given the media frenzy over any bizarre incidents, why wasn't there a bunch of photogs and reporters at her home as well? The writers need to make this after island life a little more believable in the details.It is too sketchy IMO.

It seems more likey that the physic relized that Claire wasn't goint to keep the baby, just because he said so, so i believe that the Physic guy sent Claire on Oceanic 815 because he KNEW that it would crash, and he wanted to make sure that if Claire wasn't going to raise Aaron, then no one would.

The Physic was trying to kill Claire.

I don't think there was ever a couple in L.A. He knew the plane would crash and Claire would be forced to raise the baby on her own. I don't think he was trying to kill her.

Just to review the exchange between the psychic and Claire:

MALKIN: I can tell you, this is important.

MALKIN: It is crucial that you, yourself, raise this child.
CLAIRE: You mean with Thomas? Is he..
MALKIN: The father of this child will play no part in it's life, nor yours.
CLAIRE: So what exactly are you saying?
MALKIN: This child parented by anyone else, anyone other than you -- danger surrounds this baby. . .

C'mon. Don't give the writers flak because they didn't have a mob of reporters waiting for Kate back at home. Not every celebrity is followed as closely as Britney Spears you know. Plus, she left out the back door. For all they know, she was still in the courtroom.

james...i think that Aaron is very special and that people will be looking for him (maybe he is like Walt or more gifted even)...i think that his mother would protect him no matter what the cost...maybe he could see that if someone else took the baby....he could end up in the wrong hands and that his gifts would be used for bad things...i dont think that the psychic saw the crash necessarily...just what/who Aaron was and how powerful he may be one day.....thats my best guess...i do know that the psychic was scared silly like whoopi goldberg in ghost when she had been faking it then finally broke through to the "other side"...lol

You're right about the psychic's reaction. I think it's reasonable to assume that Aaron probably wouldn't have been "special" unless he was born on the island. And Malkin, the psychic, was responsible for Claire being on flight 815.

Except I'm not sure Lock and Walt are special unless they're ON the island. I guess we can't say for sure how that will play out with Aaron yet.

Walt was obviously special beforehand as evidenced by the flashback when the bird hit the window after he had been looking at the same bird in his book, and because Walt's stepfather was basically terrified of him and didn't want him around which is why he dumped him off in Michael's lap....

I don't think it's so much that Locke was special it's that his connection to the island was special, but as we've seen up to now, that connection has faded and has gotten stronger with Hurley so who knows if it will come back or stay with Hurley or keep jumping around...

And i found it especially telling in that transcript of claire and malkin's conversation that he spoke of her goodness because that is not kate whatsoever so i think some bad stuff will definitely go down there...

And there is no way that reporters would be at her house, that would make them bad reporters because Kate and the lawyers retired to the judge's chambers or back room or whatever and cut a deal while everyone was still waiting in the courtroom expecting them to come back in and either continue with the case or process the deal in front of the judge so all the reporters were still sitting in the courtroom anxiously awaiting what would happen...the only people who could've possibly been staking out her house are the bastards at TMZ but depending on this time frame they wouldn't really be widespread at the time...

I also think Claire didn't give up Aaron because the only reasons i can think of that Jack wouldn't want to see Aaron is either Kate stole him or Jack found out at some point that he was actually the Aaron's uncle/half-uncle and couldn't take the reminder...i think the former is more likely true, but perhaps both are true
