he no doubt has all the answers the losties (and we) are looking for, but the way he has maintained some control and a sense of humor with miles, locke, sawyer, and sayid during season 4 has been a pleasant surprise. plus the guy can take a punch.

ben is my second fave after locke - he is really intriguing character and portraued brilliantly!

Ben is a great actor and they've given him the best part-the coat of many colors.He plays those colors extremely well. What is Ben's true color? That's what mystifies me. The island has its smoke and mirrors , but the characters are the real mystery.

def beach...esp Ben...he is so complex and cool/collected at the same time...and his LINES....they are as good as Sawyers...the way he knows and pushes each lostie's buttons, i hate to admit, is hilarious...i think that James will beat him raw by the end of the season if they are around eachother too much...lol...Poor Benny...i do love his character and how he will stop at nothing to protect the island. He sure does take it like a real man too:)

I've always liked Ben, even when he was pretending to be Henry Gale. I actually thought he was telling the truth about not being an Other even after they found the pic of the real HG. He's definitely one of my favorite characters. I'm surprised he isn't dead yet though, what with the beatings nearly every episode.

because he is really indepth and intriguing - he is not just yout typical bad guy.

kind of reminds me of the villians in the james bond movies: sure he's a control freak that wants to take over the world, but he has a sense of humor.
