Jacks Tattoo

Did anyone see Jacks tattoo in tonights episode. As he reached into the medicine box to get his pills he had a very large an colourful tattoo on his forearm. If you watch this is slow motion (if you have it taped) you will see that the scene cuts away and then back again to his arm and it is gone?
Is this a continuity error (if it is its a big one) or is it something else?
