First of all i believe that the alt is the new "normal". In other words this all happened before in some way where Dark expanded and the island gets flipped so to speak and the balance always remains. which is what I think Jacob means when he say's there will always be another just as much as he means a candidate. This world we have thought was ours is now MIB's and the alt is the new normal.

So now as far as Daniel is concerned and all the other losties in the alt. The one thing...

But I think it is important to note that the losties in the alt that have the most profound understanding of both sides are the dead ones. So I'm willing to bet that that will be the only way for them to come around. They'll have to die.

I'm basically saying that the universe is expanding and you have a choice you to either stay on the positive side of the expansion or you resolve yourself to the dark matter. but someone has to hold the gate. And be responsible for putting together...

Ok, many of you know that I see philosophy as the driving force or plot writing device for the show Lost. They are now showing us this once again in the sideways world.

In the sideways world, Jacob is dead....so his philosophy is dead. And the elements of his philosophical influence on the losties has disappeared and Smokies philosophy has appeared instead.

Even though I believe that Smokie is Rene (Descartes), as portraying his philosophy, I don't think thats what his name will be.

I think his name will preserve the "Jack" and "John" name -vs- name dichotomy (name game).

Aaron (name incarnate of Jack) -vs- JiYeon [pronounced literally (J) ohn]
Jacob (Name incarnate of Jack) -vs- ???Smokie??? (name incarnate of John)

This is how I see all of the timelines on the island and off the island.

I diagramed a picture of all the timelines and how I believe they interact. Both WHH and TCC are preserved is this diagram…I believe this is critical.
