On this show with all the allusions to good/bad, light/dark, two sides fighting for control of the island, and etc. Why should we assume that Christian is good and really talking for Jacob. If there are two sides to the battle for the island, what if Christian is Jacob's dark counter. Realistically going with that train of thought what if Christian did something to Jacob and is now giving John misinformation to take advantage of him. We have seen people play John before so it's not so far fetched. Also, who better to assure Clair that her child should not be with her when before we went along with the idea that he had to be raised by her. Anyway, who knows, but I;m not ready to jump on the Christian is working for the good of the island bandwagon
I think it's pretty safe to assume Christian is a "good guy."
We know Keamy and those guys are here to destroy the island and kill everyone, that's no longer up for debate. So if Christian is working to move the island to stop Keamy, then that would, at least temporarily, make him the good guy.

Christian was dead when he came to the island. The island brought him back to life. And now he has Christian doing his bidding. No? Maybe? Anyhoo.

The Philippines is the key. Australia is just a front.
I think Christian is motivated by redemption. He was certainly less than perfect in life. And now seeing his son, daughter, and grandson in danger, he's determined to set things right. Plus, assuming he's a true ghost, he probably knows the island's true secrets and will protect it however he can.

i think this is why i dislike him so much, he made selfish decisions in life.
There is just something about him that deosn't seem right. I guess we'll find out once we know what moving the island entails. I mean Christian could have told him to move it somewhere that would help Keamy and the mercs as opposed to helping the island
As of right now it does seem that Locke is setting out to do right and protect the island....which makes me wonder why the does Hurley say to Jack (when they're off the island) that it was a mistake to go with Locke and that they should have gone with him??? There has to be a MAJOR event that we haven't seen yet.....strange.
