Default Gabriel and Jeffrey - The Lie

From Episode The Lie.....

BEN: Have Gabriel and Jeffrey checked in yet?

JILL: Yeah. Everything's moving right on schedule. How's it going with Shephard?

Do we have any theories on who Gabriel and Jeffrey are?

I think Gabriel and Jeffrey are either the two "lawyers" who attempted to get a blood sample from Kate and Aaron, or they are two of Ben's men who we have not yet met.

I have seen some speculation that Gabriel and Jeffrey are the two men who attaced Sayid at the safe house. I personally don't think they could be. They were killed before Ben enters the butcher shop. There would be no way for them to check in. It could be possible they were supposed checked in upon getting into position at the safe house, but I would assume they were to check in after they secured Sayid, which they couldn't, because they were dead.

I don't think that they are important--at least not yet.

As for the lawyers, I believe Sun sent them herself. It seems to me that it's just too convenient for Sun to call and invite Kate over when Kate is on the run again. She's becoming as munipulitive as Ben.

But why would Sun send the lawyers? What does she gain from making Kate run and/or possibly lose Aaron?

Maybe Sun is a bit miffed about Kate not getting Jin off the freighter....or if Sun is working with Widmore, maybe Widmore sent the lawyers to Kate, and Sun's aware of it......

I think she counted on both Kate and Aaron coming to see her, and then she could take them "hostage." Either Ben or Jack would eventually come looking for them. But I'm still hoping Sun is really just trying to stab Widmore in the back, and that she really blames him for Jin's death.

What if she sent them to get Kate in the frame of mind to go to the island, if there is anywhere in the world you can hide your kid it is on an island that does not exsist. Maybe Sun knows (from Widmore) that Sun is alive and needs all of them to go back so she can find Jin. What do you think Kate will do if she finds out Sawyer is alive on the island.

Sorry if this posted twice
