Faradays Funding

Ok so Daniel Faraday has been funded by Charles Widmore but I do not belive it is because they are related. Widmore is funding Faraday to save someone. Charles is looking for a way to save Pennys mother, Yes I belive that the woman in the bed that Desmond visited in Oxford is the wife of Charles Widmore. He is funding Daniels research to save her from the time skips that she is expierencing. The skips for some reason are not having a quick death effect on her but I think thats because she having a opposite type effect of time travel that we have yet to learn about. Desmond seemed to skip in and out of two time frames with his body still in 2004. She is actually trapped in a sort of time limbo where she lives in the year she has traveled to but body remains in normal time. Widmore is funding Faraday so that she can lasp back into actual time.

she didnt look old enough to be pennys mother. and wouldnt penny try to visit her at some point if it was her mother?

I dont know if Penny actually knows that her mother is alive. And she could be experiencing the Alpert affect ageless. What if Alpert to is laying in a bed living the past in a flash. He would be as old as he was during the flash remember how they producers and writers made it a point to show Desmond what he looked like in both times.

I thought it was explained that she was a love interest of Daniels and that is why the woman who was taking care of her was so pissed because he broke her heart and left her there like that.

so if it is widmores wife? why would daniel have a picture of himself and theresa in a frame in his lab at oxford?

Hmm very intresting well we dont know alot about Widmore or his personal life maybe the two of them met after the two spilt ways or maybe even another daughter Widmore and Ellies daughter the two could be brother and sister in that case.

I think a key is looking to when Faraday crys about the crash who the woman is in the background maybe an answer there.
