Default WHH -vs- TCC in FlashForward

When it comes to WHH(WWHWH) and TCC(WWHCC)....FlashForward is really the show where those two concepts are up in the air....

However, I don't see any threads or interest in talking about it....the show just is not sparking enough interest I don't think.

What do you think?

The future has been shown. Which is Truth?

Whatever Will Happen Will Happen (WWHWH) or
Whatever Will Happen Can Change (WWHCC)

I'd make it a poll but I don't know how.

I think we're creatures of habit, here...
Not many members stray this far down the forum.

I posted some really good interviews and appearances (TPTB, Emerson, etc...) in the Announcement forum, that I bet hardly anyone has seen... but that's life.
------------------------------------------
Flash Forward:

It's actually both, kind of...
I think what we are watching right now is the past, not the present. Like Desmond/Constant; we see him as looking back, but he was in 1996 looking forward. The Flash forwards happened in the past of the characters... they have already been thru it. It's us (and their past) who are seeing it for the first time.

The deeper drama of the show could be that things can change, but power of suggestion will tragically (or not) make their 'futures' come true.

For us (and their past selves) April 29th will come and pass, and the characters will be thinking back about what happened when they saw the FF. They will realize that they helped create it, willingly or not.

This will be their current time as of November 2009 (our time.)
Long story, short... we are in the past, and they are in the present.

When it's said and done, the shock of flashforwards will be replaced by the characters trying to change things back to how they should have been. Mark will have to quit drinking again, Penny will have to reconcile with Mark for sleepinhg around, etc...

So yes, the future can change.
But the Flashes were actually the past, so they technically don't, in May 2010.

I keep thinking the asian guy who thinks he didn't see anything because he's dead, even though the gf saw them getting married is going to keep trying to find a way to get himself killed. Not sure if it will work or not. I think he didn't see anything because he was standing on the beach at the beginning of his wedding with his eyes closed.

Ok, well if its the past...then its WHH....the way your describing it.

So, you don't think that the main guy will not take a drink and you don't think that Penny will end up cheating?

What about the guy who say his daughter alive? That seems like that future is messed up somehow.

I'd say that Mark will drink, and his wife will cheat.
But it will be because they think they have no choice.

But then later, they will realize that they did have a choice, and reconcile, etc...

And my guess is that Aarons daughter is alive.

I think tonights episode just proved that TCC...things can change. Since Al (? name..jumper) committed suicide that made a "fork in the road" and things are now different since in his FF he was alive. Well, not anymore since he was removed from the scene in a body bag.

NotSo, where the heck have you been?

It didn't really say that girl actually died. I'll bet she stands up from the table and has a prosthesis on her rt leg.

The suggestion of covering the window to deter the bird is def reminescent of Des/Charlie. The bird would just fly into a diff window, eh?

The father had her funeral already. Her body parts were shipped home. His FF showed her still alive somewhere. That is/was becoming a driving force in his life. When the cop committed suicide he changed the future in his little "circle" due to the ripples caused by his own change. Whatever he would have done, touched, etc., over the next six months will not now happen. Suddenly, the daughter is sitting in her fathers house? Huh? I bet he wakes up from dreaming that next week but never the less, things have now changed even if it is ever so little.

The bird hitting the window reminded me more of Walt than anyone else. He seems to draw them to his "magnetic" personality. lol

I've just been real busy. Creating, testing and posting my recipes. Now, to add to that dad is in the hospital again and my water heater just zonked out on me today! Life is never dull, is it? lol. I see cold showers in my FF.
