Jacob's Death

I believe Jacob Orchestrated his own death. He planned everything, and allowed Ben to kill him, and even allowed MIB to find his "loophole." In death, Jacob is even more powerful, appearing to Hurley whenevero he needs to. He falsely hoped that Ben wouldn't kill him, just so Miles would hear it and make Ben would feel bad. He did this so that the candidates would rise. He did all of this, so that when a candidate rises up, his arguement would be proven. The arguement that it is progress and that there is good in people. Everything that we've seen so far is the progress, and the end will prove that he is correct, and can rest in piece.

I don't think he 'orchestrated' his own death, I just think he planned accordingly. I think he honestly hoped Ben wouldn't kill him, because that would help prove his point further.
