Poor Nadia

I haven't seen this question brought up here, so I was wondering what ideas folks might have about why Widmore would want poor Nadia dead. What would be the motivation for killing the love of Sayid's life? It seems the only one who would really "profit" from it was Ben, as a set-up to get Sayid to be his personal hit man, but it sure appeared to have gone down like Ben described to Sayid. Don't know if it has anything to do with it, but Sayid was the only one of the Oceanic 6 to have found a mate.

I agree. She lived such a horrible life, then finally was reunited with the love of her life and now she's dead. How sad.

I'm glad Sayid got to marry her after all those years, but it is sad. I thought from the beginning that he would hook back up with her forever.

Yes, this business with Nadia is very strange - it might make some sense if it was AFTER Sayid killed Elsa, but this seems to be the beginning of Sayid's work for Ben, so why did they target someone he loves before all this? Very strange!
Ugh that first episode where you see Nadia is horrible - those acid burns!
