Is it just me, or did the previews seem to give out just a little too much?
I think as soon as they showed the two Olivia's together again, I had the whole finale figured out. wth...

One of the ingredients in the plan is a giant magnet, so MacGyver will be in the finale.

Sooo... wait... "Time Reset?"

(I'm admittedly excited to see the other Olivia again)

Got my 6 pack, ordering a pizza, and all ready for tonight... "the end."

So. What did y'all think?
Didn't quite go out with the 'bang' that I expected.

And I thought it would have been more appropriate for Donald/September to go with the boy.

I loved the scene when Astrid brings Walter to see their cow.
"It's a lovely name....... Astrid."

i agree about Gene, the cow,was a touching scene. It was a noble end for Walter to erase himself from history and reset time. I also liked "why do we want observers to float away?" "because it's cool"

HAHAHA!~ It is TOTALLY cool, Krak! HAHAHA~ I loved that!

ok, so admittedly, I was duped momentarily, thinking Walter would go with Peter and Olivia. ~yayyy~ But then suddenly and without warning Fate says BAMMO! That's what you think!

Dang! Right?

So anyway, if they can re-set time, then they obviously control destiny.

Question: Do you think Walter believed it was really his destiny to take Observer Child Michael into the safe distant future or rather his conscious choice not to go with Peter and Olivia and Astrid?

I mean, did he plan this all along? He made that video and letter to Peter, and also told Peter they only had those years together because Walter stole them, like he stole Peter. That kind of sounded like he was saying it wasn't supposed to be and therefore it was fitting Walter go? Was he merely taking on the responsibility to escort Child Observer Michael to the future?

Idk. I just wondered because of the sudden change of things when September was shot , if it was meant to be all along that no matter what went down, Walter would be the one.

It was a good finale, but I miss Walter. booo

So I just watched it. I'm confused. When time reset where was Walter? I know he disappeared and went to the future. But in this new timeline had Peter ever gotten him out of the mental institute? Because if that is the case then how did Peter and Olivia even get together? I noticed the tulip came from a Boston address.

Great series. The show definitely ends in a much different place than it begins. I really did like the fringe event cases in the early seasons. Too bad it never got the audience it deserved. I'm glad they stuck with their story even though the ratings dropped. They never tried to dumb it down for the viewers which is probably why im still confused. Ha

Oh and I'm glad they referenced the white tulip. That episode might be my favorite and is one of the best scifi episodes of all time.

Phillip, they reset time back only to the moment before the Observers actually made their move, which was just to the moment before they snatched 3 yr old Etta in the park. Walter had to "disappear" into the future at that moment.
Events up until then, Peter and Olivia will remember everything with Walter, including way back when Walter left the institution.
Walter was not "erased" from ever being.
And I think he sent the letter and video to Peter so that Peter would know why they never saw him again after that day at the park.
Where did he go? He simply walked into the wormhole with Observer child Michael in the safe far distant future.
