Sorry but I didn't see any threads resolving these issues. If anyone can point me to them, I would appreciate it.
1. Richard told Sun he remembered "very well" her friends in the 1977 DI photo because he saw them die. Did he really see them die, or is he mistaken?
2. Richard said Jacob made him this "way" implying he doesn't age because of something Jacob did to him. What do we think Jacob did?
3. Was Richard really fooled by Flocke, or was Richard allowing Ben and Flocke to see Jacob part of Jacob's plan?
1. I've been wondering this myself. perhaps when they flashed at the time the bomb detonates (as we are assuming they will do), they disappeared and he assumed they went KABLEWEY!!
2. What do YOU think Jacob did?
3. I'm going out on a limb and saying Richard is as dumbfounded as the rest. ....but I think a lot of eyes are about to turn toward him too.

he is starting to remind me of the guy who was the "butler" in "Rocky Horror Picture Show" he plays like he is the servant to the bad (good?) guy, but in rhps, he was the real leader, and he wrote the play, so you have to wonder
ok if I am nuts to make this analogy just tell me I can take it.

1. I don't think he is lying. Guess we'll find out soon enough.
2. I don't think Richard didn't say "Jacob" made him this way. I think he said "He" made me this way and everyone assumes it was Jacob. I could be wrong but I remember thinking about this before. We need transcripts.
3. I don't think Richard was fooled. Just my opinion.

Huh??? Do you mean Riff-Raff? Riff-Raff wasn't "the good guy" at all. He was the "handyman." He killed everyone with his sister Magenta. They were aliens and the house was the spaceship and they went home in the end. The experiment failed...it was a song. Say, maybe that's what's going to happen with the island....

Yea, go to Lostpedia and search transcripts. Then just click the season and epi.
RICHARD: I - I have been here a long time, John. And i have seen things on this Island that I could barely describe, but I've never seem someone come back to life.
LOCKE: And I've never seen anyone who doesn't age. Doesn't mean it can't happen.
RICHARD: I'm this way because of Jacob. And if I had to guess, he's the reason you're not in that coffin anymore
it was jacob that made him "ageless"... don't know how. hopefully we will find out in the richard-centric epi.
yes, i think he was fooled. he was growing suspicious of something, but i don't think he knew it wasn't locke.
and i think it is more he knew they were at ground zero then not there anymore... we shall see soon.

Thanks for clearing that up LS! So, I think Richard knows a lot more than he's leading on about. He's just involved in wayyy too much.
