been dying to discuss the 1st episode and now its started we can

i always believed the return to the flight 815 at the start of season 6 would just be a what if scenario but does the mark on jacks neck or des being on the plane prove my thought wrong? im thinking so

I think it was just a what if scenario because otherwise why would Desmond be on the plane?

also hurley said 'nothing bad ever happens to me,im the luckiest man alive' as if all those bad things with the numbers never happened to him like tito dying,the meteor etc.

of course if the hatch was never built des wouldnt have been in it and he could have been on the flight so its looking like its not a what if scenario.

It's totally parallel universes. I hope somehow though the non-crashers come to remember their Lostie days on the island. Looks like Kate and Jack still have them chemistry

i think the parallel universe thing will be a really bad cop out and will leave a lot of people upset.

I agree. I mean I am loving the premiere so far but if the whole season is alternate universes it would be a total cop out. So we are actually watching three different time periods now.

Yea okay, a what if sonario is so much less of a cop out than parallel universes.

Lovin it so far though, don't see your logic on cop outs though.

This IS the last season. It makes no sense for the writers to introduce the idea of paralell universes without drawing a quick conclusion.
They said they would tie all the loose ends up and I believe them.
