Default widmore

if in the new timeline widmore still sent locke to the walkabout, then he is going to eventually track down the oceanic passengers right? are they going to redo last season getting everyone back on a plane?

people are thinking that if the plan worked and the bomb went off then widmore should be dead but i think that is far from the truth as richard is still here and he said he watched the bomb go off and all the losties that where in the 70's died,so if richard is still there then widmore should be still alive.

Richard said that in the original, normal timeline. It is evident that the Losties were always in 77 regardless of which timeline they are in.

As for Locke going on a walkabout, it doesn't have to be Widmore or Abbadon who told him to go. We know that Hurley wasn't there to find out about the numbers but instead to work out all the details with his chicken business.
