Well...it's clear that the statue foot is similar to the damaged form we've seen it. Caused by a detonation of a bomb? Do you think that a bomb would cause damage to the statue and not the bungalos in Otherton? Or the Sonic fences we saw underwater as well?
But I thought we saw the base of the statue intact in the last episode, with AntiLocke and all the killing, etc. The base is crushed in this picture so it couldn't have been because of Juliet detonating Jughead, right? Or am I missing something?

didn't faraday say the EM would negate the affects of the nuke, or something like that? i have read other posts and i think the biggest question is where is the rest of the statue? i guess on the jungle floor overgrown is obvious enough but that is one big foot/statue and not much rubble or debris surrounding it

Nope, you're fine. I'm just saying that there must be another reason the island is underwater and the statue/base has a slightly different damage pattern, plus the ankh.

Some are theorizing that the ash they use to block Smokie is statue dust. I don't know about that but you never know!
You're right InTheBeginning, the base is different. Everything is different! I guess the happenings on the island and the fate of the statue have been altered in this new timeline too. Thanks for clarifying! I always seem to miss something.

it is hard to know if the underwater foot is a continuity error, i mean if it is CGI then is it different enough to have been done on purpose, or is it close enough to not worry about. i am asking you guys
