MiB told Richard that the devil(Jacob) stole his body and humanity.
If MiB was telling the truth,then maybe he used to look like Jacob who stole this from him as well as his humanity by making him into a smoke monster.

I think Jacob is an angel and MiB is a demon. Simplistic I know but, like the football coaches say, believe what you see. There's definitely something supernatural going on.

If Jacob is trying to keep evil away from the world,then he should 'wake up' and realise that the world is already full of it.
The people he brings to the island bring the evil with them.
I'm not buying any of Jacob's BS and I wanna see MiB'S back story.
We need an MiB centric episode so that we can see his side of the story.

Maybe, but it seems more like MIB is just tired of this whole game. not that he didnt want to do it in the first place, but now he changed his mind (too late) didnt they say they used to be friends?
