This episode gives you a big heads up on figuring out who Whidmore is?
Told us basically the crux of his plan.
Told us Smokie is trapped by water which I posted a long time ago with Notsolost agreeing.
This episode showed us Jin was still a free agent.
This episode gave us insight into Sayids condition? He is now "emotionless".
This episode now has everyone heading for Hydra island...so the scene where Sawyer is shot at during the time travel seems close at hand.
This episode cleared up Sun/Jin in the Flash sideways.
What were you expecting?

Seems like there are more and more people expecting more than we're getting. It's almost like they just want to have the smoke monster sit and narrate the answer to every question.
I think some of the rest of you are with me, that this has been a fine season...confusing but fine. Besides coming up with answers, TPTB have to be able to further their plot, and i for one, think it's coming together nicely.
...i just hope we get a solid ending.

To me, Sayid is pretty clearly now the MIB's replacement. He is dressed in black and can't feel emotions.. he's basically lost his humanity, which is what i think MIB was dealing with before he was able to take over Locke's body.
It's almost like people decided they weren't going to like the episode before it even aired. So instead of watching the episode they decided they didn't like it before they watched it and sat through it thinking I don't like this episode, it's not good enough.

Yeah, but in all fairness... there's an equal amount of people, who feel Lost can do no wrong.
And that every episode is 'the best ever.'
