I thought this was the best so far. It shows Sayid giving his life for Jack who will in turn become the new Jacob and he knew that. It shows that Jack is going to come after MIB with a vengeance. It shows that Kate still loves Jack. It shows that MIB is the bad guy. It shows that Sawyer screwed up and Jack was right. If he had not touched the bomb the sub would not have sunk. Jack knew what to do!!!!!!!!! The Jin and Sun scene actually made me cry. And...yes Desmond is alive and Jack will find him to kick MIB's a**. Gotta love it.

I agree I loved it too.It also showed in the sideways roles were reversed in the case of Jack and Locke.I also loved how Locke has memory of the island when he was sleeping.I cant wait to see how the two worlds will merge.

I liked it too but I didn't like the Sayid bit. He goes from "feeling nothing" for quite some time and all that and then suddenly sacrifices his life for his buds as the old Sayid would do.

Perhaps I missed something or it will be explained- or maybe there's nothing to explain...

This sideways world will be the ending for sure. Especially since we see Sun and Jin and the baby. Jin will get a chance to see his daughter grow up. I just am not sure how it ends up.

So then we shouldn't cry for any deaths cause we have the sideways for a back up.I do admit it makes me feel better to know that they are happy in another time line.I just don't know if the writers would want the sideways to be the end because it would make everything that has happened for nothing.All the drama on the island is less meaningful cause we have the sideways.I am hoping that they will merge in some way, maybe the island is really the ending.That would make more of an impact to me.

Definetaly not a moot point it shows how calculated MIB is how he can find the loop holes. He knew they would interfere and that would make the bomb go off his hands are clean but he got his end results dead candidates.Did you see his face when he knew some were still alive, he was pissed off.The whole time he just wanted them dead that is important.When he told Jack he could kill them he probably could but he would be breaking the rules,he manipulated his way yet again.I think now that Jack and the rest know what MIB intent was it really will be war now.He's going down now!I hope.

I think it was Desmonds words to Sayid when he was going to kill him. This scene start Sayid to turn away from the darkside.

[Sayid, gun in hand, walks toward the well. Points gun at Desmond, who is bloody and sitting in shallow water.]

DESMOND: So what did he offer ya? If you're gonna shoot me in cold blood, brother...I think I have a right to know what you're getting in exchange for it.
SAYID: He told me I could get something back I lost.
DESMOND: And what did you lose?
SAYID: The woman I loved.
DESMOND: And where is she now?
SAYID: Dead.
DESMOND: And what makes you think Locke can bring her back?
SAYID: I died...and he brought me back.
DESMOND: So, what will you tell her?
SAYID: What do you mean?
DESMOND: This woman--when she asks you what you did to be with her again...what will you tell her?
