Ben had a thick DI jacket on when he went down to turn the wheel, so why wasn't it cold when MiB and Mom were down there?
the ice is probably some after effect once the wheel is actually built in.

Was it a dream where you see yourself dressed up in kind of sun god robes standing on top of a pyramid with all theses nude women throwing little pickles at you? Why am I the only person who has that dream?
I'm pretty sure that Ben was wearing the jacket because he wasn't exactly sure where out of several spots he was going to end up. One of them was obviously Tunsia, but another could have been the north pole for all we know. So he had to dress prepared.
