Default Star trek

Jsut saw the latest star trek movie today....thought it was awesome....saw jj.abrams directed it and damon lindelof was one of the producers. anyone else see it?

Yeah, I saw it like a year ago when it came out.

I enjoyed it quite a bit. The action packed beginning scene when the sound dropped for a key moment so you could focus on the character's emotions totally reminded me of how JJ filmed some of the big Lost scenes.

I'm a borderline Trekkie, and I really enjoyed it. I think there were mixed reviews by the hardcore Trekkies, but overall the movie got really good reviews.

I really never liked Star Trek as a kid (because it competed with Lost in Space and oh, that Will Robinson~~) -

but I did watch this JJ Abrams version last yr and I must say, soon as the music started, I was awed.

When they were writing this movie Lindelof wanted it to end in a klingon purgatory but the production company wouldn't allow it

the music and the special effects were awesome indeed.

a klingon pergutory? thank god not .....lol...that may have left me reliving my disgust after the lost series...lol
