Well, since we see Hurley with Aaron maybe something happens to Claire, Hurley takes Aaron to the beach and Frank lands and they get on the Helicopter fast.

well, because what ever locke did, turned out to be a total mess up. come on people, john might seem 'cool' on the outside, but look at his track record, off the island, and on. everything he does back fires...

yeah lockes judgment skills are questionable but what does he do that is so awful for hurley? i am not even sure if it is locke and a general feeling from hurley or is its ben related and more specific.

he and aaron get back with jack somehow. maybe locke keeps screwing up and some losties lose faith in locke and leave locke, which makes you wonder if sawyer would also leave with hurley.

don't forget, that in hurley's FF hurley told jack, they never should have left the island. does that mean locke was right all along?

Yeah Locke is going from worse to worse, he's totally losing his grip so something is bound to happen soon because of his bad judgement and I just feel it's something to do with Claire. It could well be something to do with Ben too because Ben could persuade anyone to do anything!

I just keep thinking that Locke is a man of Faith, and sometimes Faith GETS TESTED. That, sometimes at the darkest moments, when you only have Faith things perhaps look the worst. But after time, with the benefit of hindsight, it's a persons trust in their faith that proves to be the correct choice.

Is that what is happining to Locke right now? Who knows.. just another theory.

Good lord you people overthink everything! The answer is simple: tater tots.
Hurley loves tater tots and the Losties at the barracks ran out of them. Once he got back to the beach he found that they had an ample supply.

To this day he still regrets his 3 days without tater tots.
