so, this show obviously has a lot of hardcore fans, understandably so. well, about a month ago i purchased the dharma hatch pin set from abc.com, and i wear them all the time. everytime i wear one when i go out, people tend to freak out and ask about them, blah blah blah. so the other night while i was out with some friends, we started talking about lost and how cool it would be to have a lost tattoo. like one of the hatch logos or the numbers or something. just wondering if any of you(or anyone you know) have a lost tattoo? i have friends with all kinds of "super fan" tattoos(twin peaks, cowboy bebop, big lebowski, etc.) i'm seriously considering getting a dharma hatch logo tattoo, but i also don't want to get one until we've seen all of the hatches. post pics if there are any out there!
I don't have any merchandise. But I wonder would they have anything in 'Forbidden planet' - they might have! Oh God help me if they do, I'll buy the lot! I never even thought of it! HAHA I have one tattoo, but it's not a LOST one, it's of a scissors wearing high heels!
i dont have any tattoos - i am prone to changing my mind A LOT so dont think something permanent like a tattoo is a good idea for me
HAHA Yes it's a good thing I'm trying to save for a holiday - I just go with my impulses - once I wanted to get a cup of tea tattooed on me, and another was the turnip symbol (I might still get that, a tiny one), but I'd also like a rainbow or something, so maybe I should just leave it! HAHA My friend always says 'When you're 90 you don't want people to see you with a tattoo' and I always say 'That's exactly why I DO want one or two tattoos!' HAHA Imagine being 90 and losing your marbles and trying to remember why you got a turnip tattooed onto you HAHAHAHA
I am getting a tattoo of the number 23 somewhere on my body. Its my favorite number and my birth date... May 23. I have a tattoo on my bum that says "Made In Ireland" in cursive about the size of a business card. I just cant think of a good place to put the number 23 on my body, any ideas?

LOL!
Turnip,
My great aunt, my grandmother's sister had a bunch of tattoos. She was born in Beaumont, Texas about the time of the first big oil boom there about the turn of the century (I'm talking 1900). As a kid growing up in the 50's and 60's I was fascinated by them.
Later on, I wondered what kind of woman in the 1920's would get tattoos? Was my great aunt a "loose woman?" Or, as my grandmother used to say "anybody's dog that will walk with her."
The technology wasn't as advanced and a couple of them were just blobs of blue ink on her aged, leathery skin. That image always stuck in my mind and I just never could get one. But, my wife and both my son's have them! Go figure...
