When the cartoon first started, I rolled my eyes.
But after a few minutes, I was ok with it.

As soon as he showed up, I just knew Broyles was going to end up taking the acid.

Crazy episode. I like to think someone out there is watching this episode on LSD. I did think it was similar to inception and I thought it was crazy when Astrid decided to advertise for the app Zoom at a very inappropriate time.

Good episode though. Creative way to bring back Nimoy and only Fringe could do an episode like this. They are really making the actress who plays Olivia earn her paycheck this season.

I was pretty impressed with Anna Torv in the first place.

Then I saw an interview, and found out she's... AUSTRALIAN!

Broyles on acid... classic .. and why is it that the 'experience's' of LSD ( and dope smoking ) are always portrayed in TV and film are so unbelievably way off the Mark? ... yeah that's right folks, I've done both

Because if they were portrayed as per your evidence, all we'd get is someone sitting in a cafe in Amsterdam unable to type coherently whilst eating cake

Most people in tv have no experience. Fear and loathing does a good job of it though. Good movie

True most people in TV don't have experience of LSD... it's all coke and prostitutes with them, neither of which I can honestly say I've experienced.

Well we must remember that Hunter S took a wide range of narcotics including mescaline and alcohol to add to that list.... don't even know what mescaline is or the effects and I'm not a big fan of alcohol... and in combination. Having seen Fear and Loathing I still stand by my original statement.. Neither LSD or 'Dope' produces the effects shown in the movie or in any movie I've ever seen.. Movies tend to show an artistic idea of what being 'Stoned' could be, I will freely admit that Acid ( LSD ) Produces a kind of shimmering of colours around the outlines of objects and a gives you a positive connection to your surroundings but the portrayal of the effects in film are laughable at least in my own experience.. no yellow brick road or tweety birds ... my own experiences of LSD were in the 90's in the company of good friends and we all agreed the effects were more of less the same.. I am aware the the 'tabs' available back then were a lot weaker than the stuff, such as the 'micro dot' in the 60's.. perhaps a member of the baby boomer generation has a differing opinion?

I would never condone the use of 'Hard drugs' but for someone who considers himself 'headstrong' the experience of LSD was a positive one. We all choose to take drugs in one form or another, Coffee, tobacco, alcohol.. marijuana.. anti depressants etc... some are socially acceptable some are not.. I don't judge people on their decisions or listen to propaganda, I educate myself and make up my own mind. Would I recommend LSD? yes I think everyone should experience it once... you never quite look at the world in the same way again.
