Damn Mattyboy! It is network television. They have to suck in all the lowest denominators if they want to last more than one season.

But yeah, this is more similar to Twilight than it is to Lost.

I thought the resolution was too simple. It would have been more interesting (perhaps realistic) if they would have had to break camp and start over.

Someone said something about refuse in one of their post, guess we were introduced into how they are dealing with human refuse.

It didn't get any better... you didn't miss much.

There was some good (unintentional) comedy in one scene.
Taylor, the leader was sneaking up to the camp and proceeded to paint his face black/camouflage.
- Yet he's running around with his bright white hair glowing like a lightbulb in the moonlight.

THANK YOU!!! This is what I've been thinking all along.
If it's a one-way trip how can they possibly know that the people going back aren't going out in a lava-filled world???
How do they even know they are going BACK in time?

What they should have done was to show the original crew and how they built what they did.....the story line so far has many unexplained questions which MAY be explained later...but I highly doubt it.

It is so far, for me, a tad of a dissapointment.

I'll give it a few more episodes before I decide to ditch it.

I've missed parts of episodes so far but isn't it common knowledge for viewers that there is a possibility that TNers can communicate with the future? Yes, it is not great plot development nor great acting, but I think there are certain aspects that need to play out before I change the channel for good.

I don't know that the colonists can contact the future... but the leader of the 6-ers mentioned something this week about "next time you make contact with 2042..."

As far as the show, as a whole... I think there has to be some upcoming twists regarding the topic of time travel.
- It can't just be about surviving flying reptile attacks and outrunning t-rex's.
