we do see christian wearing those white shoes, but we also see john laying on the beach, shoeless, after the crash. I personally think those shoes were worn by john and flew off during the crash. christian/jacob/the island/etc already knew of what would happen in the past/future regarding jack putting his dads shoes on lockes body in attempts to recreate the events of 815.

my point exactly ! lol where were johns shoes after the crash ? Why did ellie tell jack he had to give john something that belonged to chritian ? it just seems like a coincidence that john is shoeless after the crash, but then again jack did admit to putting those white sneakers on christian before the flight (815). im obviously confused lol but at least its about lost so that makes me feel better lol either way this mini theory is full of holes and it was just my $0.02
