Anyone watch this show? I know that the series is over, but thanks to Netflix i've started watching this and it crazy how much high school football is a way of life in Texas. We just finished season 1 and it wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be.
Everyone says that's a good show. I haven't seen it yet, but may take a look since it's all on Netflix starting with Season 1. There was a Rebecca Mader twitter post recently where she said she had just watched the pilot of Friday Night Lights.
the pilot will remind you of Varsity Blues, if you've seen it. I really like the chemistry between the coach and his wife. Some of the storylines are predictable, but it's still a pretty good show.
Friday Night Lights is one of my favorite show of all-time. All those who haven't seen any of it should do themselves a favor and check it out immediately.

I must admit I was pretty fond of Riggins. He was my favorite character. I watched it a while back and really enjoyed it, but was surprised that I did because I am not really a football fan.
