Default Wrong cabin,wrong Christian,wrong Claire

I touched on this little theory on someone else's thread, but does anyone other than me think maybe that was all a farce to trick Locke. Maybe Ben knew this, maybe it's why he didn't wanna go in.

1. No ash around cabin.
2. Christain and Claire both looked and acted weird.
3. If Ben thought Jacob were in the cabin, I beleive he would have wanted to be in there, "The Chosen One" anymore or not. I don't think he would reliquesh his power that easily.
4. Since when did they need a map to get to the cabin.
5. The piece of helpful information, " move the island", wouldn't Ben have thought of that if possable.
6. Although they were following Locke's map, Hurley saw the cabin first, maybe Hurley only sees the "False Cabin"

yeah you might be onto something, ben seemed to accept his 'redundancy' a little too readily and perhaps there is more to the line about destiny being a fickle bitch than we realise.....

maybe jacob is no longer around. when christian said that he will speak on his behalf maybe it meant he's taking over jacobs role in the game. all the old players seem to be getting replaced why not jacob

I am not sure if they are getting replaced, some are stepping up in thier roles, but I think Ben is playing all this song and dance as a ploy. A man always with a plan suddenly in a stupor? I doubt it. He had a plan after Alex got killed, he went and got smokie released and he got both Locke and Hurley to find the cabin. When he told Locke he didn't know where the cabin was and he was following Hurley, maybe he couldn't find the 2nd cabin? And needed Locke and Hurley to find it for him. IMO at the moment lol that could change tomorrow.

Very good! An interesting thread we have going here. All this talk here lately about Ben being good,
and stepping down as leader. Maybe it's us (the audience) he has been tricking here lately..Notice how he made us think they were "OUR" ideas! HEE HEE Good Old Evil Ben!!!

Ooh this is all very interesting stuff!
Why on Earth is Christian speaking on behalf of Jacob? He never lived on the island to have some sort of power there so how come he does?

But I'd back this up 100% if Horace hadn't come to Locke in his dream. Why would Horace lead Locke to the wrong place?

Default I agree

I posted this in another thread. After thinking about the last episode some things got me thinking about this not being the cabin. Notice Christian wasn't wearing his suit or his white tennis shoes.

With the Dharma logo on the protocol 2 book on the ship means to me that Widmore and Keamy are Dharma guys. Now Horace (living dead Horace) tells John how to find Jacob. Well, if Jacob is not a Dharma guy or Dharma being whatever, could Horace be a ploy to lead John, Ben and Hurley on a wild goose chase? Hence, no Jacob at the cabin. Only a scruffy Christian Sheperd and a loopy Claire. Notice Christian wasn't wearing his trademark white tennis shoes in the cabin last night. Sorry this is so long and convoluted. Basically I'm thinking outloud. It helps.
