In the ending of the film, it is revealed a large spaceship buried, where the skull was returned to. Could our island be a huge spaceship as well? Would help explain a lot of the 'phenomenon' happening on the island. BTW, I *hated* the ending to the Indy film. Loved everything else up till then. Kind of a cop out for me.
