I'd have to bet they will film them in the current time as the Oceanic 6, but we will see flashbacks from what each character underwent during the 3 years. Plus, they are goingn to be somewhere else, which would have allowed them to discover a lot of things after 3 years. (Think of all the hatches and stations they found in 3 mos?)
What I'm wondering is if they are actually going to film the 2-3 years that Sawyer, Juliet, Miles, Faraday(?), Charlotte, Rose and Bernard are going to spend on the island ...? Or are they only going to concentrate on the Oceanic Six?
I think they'll show a lot of things happening on the island as well as things happening with the Oceanic 06. Oh, and yeah, Sawyer and Juliet are going to hook up. We already know she doesn't care about stealing someone else's man.

Um, yeah, of course Sawyer would bone her. I would. I mean look at those titties.
Anyways, season 5 will begin, IMHO, with Jack in the jungle awakening, just like Season 1. His chopper crashed, but... He's made it back to the island! The show will work in a flashback style from there, how the O6 made it back, and how the others, Locke, Sawyer, Miles, etc. lived on the island in between the time the island disappeared and the time it took the 06 to make it back. On-island time will continue the same way it did in Season 1, with Jack and his team on their secret mission to make things right and help Jeremy Bentham.

I was thinking the same thing - Juliet seems to always end up as 'the other woman' so it would be very likely she'd end up with Sawyer! Cos she probably thinks Kate and Jack will be together now, and then when Kate comes back she'll get with Sawyer and Juliet will be like 'Give me a break!!' HAHAHA she'll probably kill Kate!
Who’s to say that three years have actually passed on the island?
Ever since Locke said that they must move the island, my thoughts have always been that the island will move into the future, meaning closer to the events of the Oceanic 6… putting it somewhere during 2007.
We’ll have to wait to see what the writers have planned I guess.
Wouldnt you think after 3 years on the island Sawyer had sex with Juliet?
