Smokie Question...

Go with me for a moment here. This thought just occured to me as I posted on another thread here about the medusa spider.
If smokie can make itself into various apparitions like the medusa siders*, Yemi or Charlie then maybe it did take the form of Hurley's friend Dave. I had always thought that Dave was inside Hurley's head as he fought his eating disorder demons. But check this out. What if smokie was Dave? What was almost the outcome from Dave? Hurley's death! Hurley almost went over the cliff like Dave wanted him to. So if smokie killed Hurley or just wanted him dead then it would have to be a big key to the plot and what smokie really is.
Why would smokie want Hurley dead????
That's my question, anyone have any ideas?????

I think Smokie is something that dates back way in the anchiant days. I belive someone of Dharma knew how to tap into Smokie's powers or how to get it to help you. Proof by Ben being able to summon it. When Smokie appeard in the Barracks it was like a storming effect. like a tempral storm type effect. Here see for your self.

In the same respect. I don't think Ben or anyone could figure out how to control him. Because even in that seen Ben seemed unsure of how Smokie would react. He just knew to be far away as possable from the guys with guns. I think even if Ben was the one to walk up to Smokie in that seen he surely would have been killed. Almost like the rakore of star Wars. unleash it at your own risk.

but before that, what i was going to mention, if you are correct - would it be to kill hurley or to bring libby and hurley together?

The sound the meter makes when it's printing a receipt. That's the sound they used for the mechanical clacking noise.

i agree with you bunnydixon, i always thought that episode was about them getting together. im still not sold on the idea that the "smokie" is apart of the people being sent. do you think that there is a difference between people like Lemi or Walt that come through?
