They are the cause
So I'm starting to think that a lot of the present day happenings on the island were actually caused by the lostie's travels through time. I think this has only just started to be illustrated on the show, hopefully more episodes will point in the right direction for this.
We saw the scenes of our lostie's working with the dharma group. Faraday says a flash can last 5 sec's or 5000 yrs. If they were to get stuck with the dharma group for long enough in the past couldn't Faraday be the one responsible for a lot of the experiments found on the present day island? He's already told them about burying the bomb in thick concrete. Funny how the present day island has all those thick concrete bunkers buried around.
There were more things I caught as well that would go along with this but is it possible? Could their actions in the past have actually caused in some way everything that's led up to them going back in time in the first place?
