Default Theory On Why Ben Killed Locke

Is the reason why Ben killed Locke because Suicide is a Sin. And if Locke would have hanged himself he couldn't have been Resurrected?

I think that might be it and has anyone noticed how all the oceanic survivors minus ones killed by Smokey are good people or have redeemed through acts on the island?

Agreed. Everything was fine until Locke mentioned Mrs. Hawking, then Ben snapped and killed him.

But why would Locke know about Mrs Hawking's Name make Ben want to kill him? I mean Ben started to get the Rope as soon as Locke got off the Table.

I think Ben was going to kill him either way, he was just waiting for all the necessary information. Knowing Ms. Hawking must have been all he needed to know.
