Default Why the rest of the 06 went back

Hey was reading up on eloise hawkings on lostpedia

It quotes the episode 316 when Ben had only managed to bring Jack, Sun and desmond with him to see her, and she says that they could make do with the people they had 'for now'

from what I remember somehow all of the other 06 changed their mind suddenly and ended up on the plane. Does anyone think ms hawkings did some kind of persuading?
for example shown kate what would have happened to sawyer or jack if she did go back - because kate did make jack promise never to ask her that question again!

Why would something happen to Sawyer or Jack if Kate did go back?

I think they meant didn't go back

It is an interesting theory, she did somehow get into desmonds past and give him instructions.

They must have changed their minds and decide to go along with Jack, cos Locke was told that if he convinced one of them(Jack),the rest would follow along.
Locke did succeed in getting Jack to go back, must've been cos he told him his father is alive.

I think because like Locke said, once he got one of them to believe, all of them would follow. Jack is the shepard and they're his sheep!
