Who is phill? i know people have probably aready talked about this. but i have only seen the end of season 4 and every episode of season 5. so what i want to know is..... who is phill? he was in the new episode this week

i think he's just a dharma member. but it almost seemed like he knew they were lying didnt he?

He works for Dharma and we just met him during the LaFleur episode. He's completely new to the Lost world.

Yeah He Did look a bit sus on Kate during orientation, and then later when Jack asked him Where JAMES was. The camera did linger on him in both scenes. There is something to that.

I think Phil is up to some thing, just not sure what. He rubs me the wrong way. Like when he started questioning Kate and then with Jack. I think he maybe a spy for the hostiles or he knows that the losties are lying, he might believe Sawyer but not Kate or Jack. He has not had any real contact with Hurley yet.

I don't think Phil is up to anything, I just think he's picking up on the subtle bits of information that Kate and Jack don't know.

When he questioned Kate, he asked who her recruiter was and she couldn't answer. Then when Jack asked him where Sawyer was, he asked for James LaFleur, and Phil said something like "he hates when people call him James". I think he figured that it was odd that the new girl doesn't know her recruiter and is added at the last minute, and then Jack (who shouldn't really know LaFleur) calls him a name he hates.

Yeah, exactly.. To Phil, Kate and Jack were both being weird and suspicious.. If you were just recruited to Dharma you probably wouldn't hesitate when someone asks who your recruiter is, and you probably wouldn't be looking for the Head of Security on your first day, you'd be hanging out with other new recruits.
