Could it possibly be that little Ben helps Sayid escape from being a captive in the DHARMA jail, which is why Sayid has to help Ben in the future by killing some of Whitmore's people.

Possibly Ben know that they were flashing back to the DI and said told Sayid if he didn't help him in the future, that little Ben wouldn't help him escape.
But Sayid didn't know he was going to travel back in time and be held captive when Ben was a boy. As far as Sayid knows, Ben has done nothing but lie and manipulate all of the losties, why whould he believe him?

Perhaps he had proof, like he proved to Sun that Jin was alive with the ring.
I'm just saying Ben is very manulipative, and could pull some strings. I know it's far fetched but I think when Ben is nice to Sayid in the past, thats why Sayid has to kill Ben's people.

Yeah, there is no way Ben or Sayid knew that they were going to end up in the past. Because Ms.Hawking said if they didn't replicate flight 815 as close as possible, the results would be unpredictible.
i honestly think the only reason sayid helps ben in the future is to kill everyone that may have been involved (directly or indirectly) with nadias death. unless the show is one big loop, which the producers have stated it is not, then theres no way either would know about their future or past selves or what happened in that alternate past/future. just my $0.02 though
My guess is that Ben helps break Sayid out of jail - at this point, Ben has already spoken with Richard in the jungle, so he may be working for the Others to get Sayid. Sayid will end up trying to kill Ben and will come close to successfully doing so, but someone is going to save Ben - my guess is that our doctor Jack steps up to save him.
Now, because Ben is working for the Others already, he's going to take Sayid to get as close to them as possible. So the Others will be meeting Jack and some of our 815ers along the way. And then Jack (or someone) will recognize Richard and blow their cover by saying something to him.
And if all this turns out to be right, I'm buying a lottery ticket to go with it.
