I know there are some other threads about Ethan, but I came across a couple of interesting things. I was reading about the King James Bible and the book the Epistle of James and came across the word ROM.
Okay, so I am by far not a bible expert

so maybe someone can shed some light in this area.
I was wondering why Ethan's last name wasn't Goodspeed when we first met him. It is Rom. The questions remain....why did he change it? Did HE change it? why Rom?
I came across Rom 3:16. It wasn't the 3:16 part that ended up being the important thing, it was the Rom. From what I can tell, Rom is commonly used in short for ROMAN, which appears a lot in the bible. Correct me if I'm wrong. Does anybody have any knowledge of and bible versus that may relate to Ethan, perhaps in Rom 1?
Horace Goodspeed (Ethan's father) could be based on QUINTUS HORATIUS FLACCUS, know in English as Horace. Before he died he was famous: the Emperor Augustus commissioned him to write the fourth book of Odes.
He died eight years before the birth of Christ. --- If we speculate that Jacob is like JC/Lord, this would go along with seeing Horus building Jacobs cabin maybe, if it was before he existed? Stretch?
Maybe I'll check out some of these poems. I gotta work! DAMN THIS LOST OBSESSION!!!
