It wasn't the eve of Passover, Ben was judged on the first night of Passover! And yes, there are many who have posted about that similarity on other forums. The smoke monster resembled that of the night of the curse when the first born male was struck dead except for those who put the blood of a lamb across their doorway to keep it out. Thus, it passed over that house. And I believe it was the next day the Jews escaped the clutches of the pharoh in haste having been freed by Moses. And that's why we eat matzo on Passover. There was no time to let the bread rise. Okay, enough of my sermon! Nice that you brought that up Bath! Thanks!
